First is to re-new m y Spouse Visa or Multiple Entry Visa  and the second one is to renew my Work Endorsement under the spouse visa programme. The documents we had submitted were the following: Borang IM. 12 document which will be provided by the Immigration office   Borang IM. 38 which will be provided by the Immigration office stating the details of the applicant's name and others   Photo copy of my new passport data page Photocopy of my old passport Visa data page   Photocopy (back and front) of my wife’s IC ...

Transfer of Endorsement From Your Old Passport To Your New Passport In Malaysia

I would like to share this experience of mine whereby I was in a dilemma on how to do things about my new passport as well as the transferring of my visa from my old passport to my new passport. This is actually new to me but I believe some knew about this matter already. I also believe that this is worth sharing for especially for those who have the same situation like me. Let me start this story… With our new passport, our embassy will eventually punctured our old passport. That’s the rule. Which means, once a passport is punctured, it is already considered invalid.  Just like what happened to me during the Immigration Check at CIQ in JB. We are supposed to travel to Singapore for a short holiday on that day, but the immigration officer told us that I need to transfer the visa endorsement from my old passport to my new passport.  Yes, I am allowed to exit Malaysia on that day, but the officer advised me that when I returned back to Malaysia, I will be in tr...

Pasar Malam Exploration in Johor Bahru

Image
“Pasar Malam” was among the few Malay words I had encountered in my first three months of stay in Malaysia. “Pasar Malam” means Night Market. It is a time where a lot of people gathered together to sell and buy products basically on food, garments, and services as well.  As a foreigner under a spouse visa in this country, I need to adapt things that are essential for my longer stay here in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. I need to know and understand the basic events, public holidays, festivities, and other interesting facts of life in this place About Pasar Malam: I had to encounter this Pasar Malam outside part of KSL City Mall, Johor Bahru on my few months of stay in this place. I was told that this Pasar Malam was one of the longest night market in the city compared to other Tamans in JB. My wife and I had been in this place for quite few times. Of course the purpose was to buy food, fruits, and experience walking and looking new things which are new to me. This e...

A Day to Remember at Desaru

Image
Everybody celebrate love and happiness during the month of February. This is the month where we celebrate Valentine's day. Couples usually date together, giving red roses, chocolates, stuff toys, and many other things as a love present to their special one. But as for me, I shared love and happiness to my wife and to our lovely son not only during this month but throughout the year. Well, to go with the trend, we went to a nearby beach resort to escape the busy life in the city. We went to Desaru Tunamaya Beach and Spa Resort at Kota Tinggi, Johor, Malaysia. Thanks to my Company as I was able to get one night stay in a 4-star luxury hotel.  Experiencing Desaru Tunamaya Beach Resort and Spa To be honest, this is my first time to experience beach here in Johor, Malaysia. The scenery was good. I like the hotel room including the amenities that they have. We booked a twin bed deluxe room. The room was clean and spacious for couples with a baby like us. The structural...
